Jacqueline Lambiase has taught public relations, technology, writing, qualitative research, and race/gender/media classes at UNT since 1996. Her professional background includes work as a spokeswoman for an East Coast electric utility and as a news editor and business reporter for daily newspapers in Texas.
Research interests include gender and advertising, as well as computer-mediated communication. Her research has been published in Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, the Journal of Sexuality and Culture, the Journal of Magazine and New Media Research, and forthcoming articles accepted by the Journal of Promotion Management and the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising. With Tom Reichert, she has co-edited two books published by Lawrence Erlbaum: Sex in Advertising: Perspectives on the Erotic Appeal (2003) and Sex in Consumer Culture: The Erotic Content of Media and Marketing (2006).
